I’m sure many of us have heard of those crazy, little-known laws that are still on the books in some states. You know the ones I’m talking about – laws like it’s illegal to spit on the sidewalk in Texas, or it’s illegal to walk your pet alligator in town without a leash in South Dakota.

What Happened to the Thrill?

I don’t want to make myself sound old, but I remember way back when, when the Olympic games were an exciting event. Whether it was the winter or the summer games, I looked forward to finding out who was going to compete for the U.S., who was going to carry the flag, and what they were going to do for the opening ceremonies.

Design Company All About Recycling

A new design company opened its doors in Seattle today that will is focused on recycling old garments. DUDS, which stands for Die Ugly Dress shop , plans to help past, present and future bridesmaids rework their dresses into garments they can wear again.

Olympic Update: French Launch Protest Against Americans

In an unprecedented move, the French have launched a protest against the Americans at the Olympics. They’re protesting all the medals the U.S. team members have won so far based on their lack of enthusiasm for the games.
