Everyone has big events in their life that they’re proud of – learning to drive, graduating from high school, their first job, things like that. Sometimes we forget about the little accomplishments that can happen every day and make us feel just as good and confident in ourselves.

Cursed Tongue: Schlock Therapy

Two theater chains are building three theaters within a three-mile radius of each other near my neighborhood. The combined number of screens in these theaters will be 44. At the moment, the neighborhood is still so rural that the Petsmart has a quarter of its space devoted to horse gear.

5. The Simpsons

It doesn’t matter how long it’s been running, The Simpsons somehow manages to stay funny and fresh week in and week out. It doesn’t even hurt to catch the reruns that are on every day several times per day. Though I am thankful we’re past the “Don’t have a cow man” catchphrases and the music albums from Bart.

Company Debuts Pet Storage Systems

If you’ve got a “crazy cat lady” as a friend or in the family, you know how hard it can be to buy gifts for them. Yes, they like cats, but there’s only so many cat figurines or kitten t-shirts and posters even a cat lover will tolerate, especially when figurines just get broken by the two dozen real cats in the home.

Cursed Tongue: Liberal Load

My major in college was English Writing. Counting all of the writing classes I took, my classmates and I must have gone through about sixty trees worth of paper, because every poem, essay, and story was copied 15 to 20 times so everyone could have a copy of each. We were supposed to read each of these, make suggestions for improvements, which we would then discuss in class.
