I love enjoying the smoke-free restaurants of Arizona. It’s pure bliss to sit through a meal without someone lighting up after they finish their pie. It’s not even so bad enduring the occasional black shroud of smoke on the way into the restaurant, to have a smoke-free restaurant.

Every once in a while I’m seized by the need to do things around the house. Not typical sweep, mop, dust kind of things – in general I have a severe aversion to those things – but project kind of things that require tools, supplies, time and lots and lots of patience.

Last Tuesday the Scottsdale city council voted to ban temporary street signs. Temporary street signs plague Arizona like no other place I’ve ever lived.

Britney Spears Gets Audience with Pope

She’s tried everything else to get her life in order, now Britney Spears is trying a little extra divine intervention by visiting the Pope. She made a quick trip to the Vatican over the weekend to see him and to submit a few things to the prayer list.
