Cynical Sarah is my pet project to stay sane while I’m unemployed. I started the site years ago when I first immigrated to Vancouver, Canada, and was unable to work until I had my permanent resident visa approved. It has evolved several times since then including columns submitted by another Sarah with a wicked sense of humor who likes to give a good tongue lashing now and then, satire news, reviews of various things and even some photos now and then.

This time around, the site will just be me and my thoughts and experiences for all the world to see if they care enough to. So stay tuned to find out what my cynical take is on the world around me, and perhaps I’ll even still sprinkle in some reviews and a little creative writing once in a while.
