Every time a new disposable item comes out on the market I think that manufacturers have finally crossed the line. But it seems that lines to cross are one resource that won’t diminish.

Cursed Tongue: Nanosense

NBC premiered Chuck, a Sci-Fi, spy series this week. The title character works in the “Nerd Herd” at a big box electronics store. Chuck is the guy who knows how to use and fix the technology that the store sells. You know, the kind of employee that doesn’t actually work at a big box electronics store, because he or she has a much better job than that of underpaid Best Buy computer monkey.

Cursed Tongue: I’d Like to Buy the World a Pure Cane Sugar Coke

Recently I was tempted to buy a 24 pack of Coca-Cola Classics for nearly $18. That’s 75 cents per drink. That’s about twice the cost for a comparable amount of regular Coca-Cola. What was so special about these cokes? They were from Mexico. They contained that white gold: Pure Cane Sugar.

Scroungy Coyote likes other dogs, but around strange dogs she’s as nervous as a horse in a glue factory. She’s a pretty big girl at 75 pounds. But the dogs that seem to bother her the most are of the teacup variety. I like to think that she mistakes them for cats, but I their beady black eyes, yipping and tiny sharp teeth disturb her.

The Chandler Library Board is hearing a record number of complaints against materials in the library’s collection. Four citizens will gripe, whine and moan about objectionable to the board this week.
