Company Debuts Pet Storage Systems

If you’ve got a “crazy cat lady” as a friend or in the family, you know how hard it can be to buy gifts for them. Yes, they like cats, but there’s only so many cat figurines or kitten t-shirts and posters even a cat lover will tolerate, especially when figurines just get broken by the two dozen real cats in the home.

Pet-a-Lot, a pet supply company, now has the solution for your next gift-giving dilemma. They’ve come out with a pet storage system for families with multiple pets that will make the perfect gift for that spinster aunt with five cats or the lonely widow with 10 cats down the street you exchange cookies with every Christmas.

With the Pet-a-Lot system, multiple-pet owners will be able to organize their felines, or even their dogs, and keep their homes, cleaner as well as giving the owners more time to themselves.

The first products in the series will be the stylish bins in which cats will be able to sleep or play in. Just put your cat in and put it up on a shelf where it’ll look great, organize your pets, and keep them from bugging each other if necessary.

“This is just like organizing any other part of your life,” said Pet-a-Lot president Royce Grimm. “People buy closet organizers, storage containers, and shelves for all other things in their home. Now they can organize their pets and make them a stylish part of the décor.”

The bins come in several styles ranging from canvas baskets to wicker to steel to accommodate and compliment the décor in any home.

“There’s no need for your beloved pets to clutter up your home any longer,” Grimm said. “Just tuck them away until you’ve got time and space to play with them and give them some attention. Then put them back on the shelf where they can sleep and play happily on their own and not be in your way or running around getting into trouble.”

Along with the bins, Pet-a-Lot will offer several accessories to help feed, water, and keep cats entertained while they’re stored on a shelf. There will be food and water dishes in various styles and colors to go along with the various styles and colors of bins.

There are also many cat toys to choose from that attach to the sides of the bins and keep kitties occupied. One is a back scratcher the cats can rub up against and feel just like they’re being petted by their owner. There are also fake mice, jingly balls and a kitty treat dispenser.

A similar storage system will be hitting the market soon for other types of pets as well. For the dog lover, there will be bins of all sizes with a variety of dog toys available. The cat system will also work for many other types of small pets such as rabbits and guinea pigs.

“We’ve also got a cat and dog wash attachment for the bins that’s still in the experimental stage that we hope will be finalized in time for Christmas,” Grimm said. “We’re hoping to basically take the hassle out of owning multiple pets and make it so even if you’re a multiple-pet owner, your home doesn’t have to look like it.”
