Hello world!

Once again Cynical Sarah is back online with a new look. That includes a new CMS thanks to the advice of a good friend who recommended Wordpress. It’s also thanks to a little part of my brain that finally said that commonsense dictates a much simpler site if I want to keep it going even when I’m working.

Please be patient as I try to upload some old content and get started with the new. Some things to look forward to in the near future – Olympic coverage!

Ok, it may not be exciting enough to warrant an exclamation point, but since I live in Vancouver and the 2010 Winter Olympics start on Friday with the opening ceremony, I’ll be talking a lot about my own Olympic experiences during the next few weeks.

I’m also on the job hunt still, so there may be some ranting or general thoughts on the job search process and the poor environment out there right now to find anything good. I’m giving it my best, though, and I’ll be doing my best to keep you entertained throughout the process.

So that about wraps it up for now. It’s time to return to figuring out how to make this site do what I want to make it look how I want and to get soem old content back up and running. Ciao for now!
