There’s something about me, some vibe I generate, some secret superpower that attracts the desperately lonely, elderly and/or slightly insane. I don’t even have to make eye contact to attract these people. People that want to have a lengthy conversation with me about their lumbago.

Cursed Tongue: Snookie’s Avenger

Scroungy Coyote likes other dogs, but around strange dogs she’s as nervous as a horse in a glue factory. She’s a pretty big girl at 75 pounds. But the dogs that seem to bother her the most are of the teacup variety. I like to think that she mistakes them for cats, but I their beady black eyes, yipping and tiny sharp teeth disturb her.

We’re a two cat household. You wouldn’t think that would be all that significant. Even in a two bedroom condo cats shouldn’t take up that much space. But with Catasterous and Hard Core, their presence is much larger than their physical size.

Cursed Tongue: Short Order Cook to a Dog

My dog eats better than I do. Or I thought that she did until the Menu Foods recall a couple of weeks ago. The same treats I used to grab off the shelf for doggy Christmas presents were not good enough for my puppy after we adopted the Scroungy Coyote. I began reading labels and discovered that most of the treats on the shelf contained more sugar than a classroom of 8 year-olds.

Company Debuts Pet Storage Systems

If you’ve got a “crazy cat lady” as a friend or in the family, you know how hard it can be to buy gifts for them. Yes, they like cats, but there’s only so many cat figurines or kitten t-shirts and posters even a cat lover will tolerate, especially when figurines just get broken by the two dozen real cats in the home.
