Teen girl devastated after star’s plastic surgery

Posted by Cynical Sarah on June 10, 2006

Ashlee Simpson hasn’t just changed her face, she’s dashed the hopes and dreams of one teen in rural Texas. Leslie Anne Goren had finally gotten the plastic surgery she wanted to look like her favorite star and now Simpson has ruined it by going under the knife herself.

“Leslie Anne is just devastated,” said her father Gregory. “She had been begging and begging for months to be able to have plastic surgery to look like Simpson – not the Jessica variety but the more fun and quirky Ashlee Simpson. We finally gave in two months ago and let her do it.”

Leslie Anne had barely gotten all the bandages off and let all the bruising heal when news came out of Simpson’s surgery that made her look more like her sister Jessica.

“Leslie Anne just burst into tears and locked herself in her room,” Gregory said. “It’s heart-breaking for a dad to see his daughter hurting like that. I’m a sucker, I know, because I let her have the surgery to begin with, but I want my girl to be happy.”

Leslie Anne had been religiously following Ashlee Simpson’s style for months. When Simpson went blonde, she went blonde. When she wore suspenders and did a hoe-down dance on Saturday Night Live, Leslie Anne tried to make the dance popular at school.

“When my parents finally gave in, I went to the plastic surgeon with a close-up of Ashlee and told him I wanted that exact bump on my nose, her larger square chin and even the same lip type she has,” Leslie Anne said. “It was all perfect and I was so happy.”

All those things unique to Ashlee are now gone though, replaced by softer features and smoothed out nose to match Jessica’s.

“She even had colagen work done on her lips. They’re the exact opposite of what they were, and now mine don’t match anymore,” Leslie Anne said.

Leslie Anne said she doesn’t want more surgery though to help fix the differences again.

“I wanted to look like Ashlee, not Jessica. If I wanted to be a blonde bimbo, I would have stuck to my regular southern girl ways,” she said.
