Top Five Entertaining Shows on TV

5. The Simpsons
It doesn’t matter how long it’s been running, The Simpsons somehow manages to stay funny and fresh week in and week out. It doesn’t even hurt to catch the reruns that are on every day several times per day. Though I am thankful we’re past the “Don’t have a cow man” catchphrases and the music albums from Bart.
4. Dog the Bounty Hunter
This one is for my husband, Troy, who for some reason gets a huge kick out of watching a throwback from the 80s leather biker scene running around with his trashy wife beating up on criminals. I guess that’s just the way life is when you’re a “robot on a mission from God.”
3. Bones
I had to throw at least one serious one in here. I’m all about the crime dramas, but it’s more of a personal fascination rather than the general “entertaining” factor in them. This one is a healthy dose of drama and some good funny jabs between the main characters. Plus you can’t go wrong with David Boreanaz as a tall dark and handsome FBI guy. At least in this series he can be out in the sunlight.
2. The Office
If you’ve ever worked in cubicle hell or had a supervisor that you just couldn’t stand, this show is for you. There hasn’t been an episode yet where I haven’t been thoroughly amused and entertained. Plus you throw in the little office romances and potential romances and you’ve got the perfect combination for a show you can watch with your significant other without it being too mushy.
1. My Name Is Earl
Every character on this show from the illegal immigrant made to the not quite grown up brother to the trailer trash ex-wife add an intricate piece to the hilarity puzzle of this show. It’s a little bit trailer trash, a little bit hillbilly, but a lot of heart.
