5. Doctor ordered to pay child support for unwanted baby

I’m sure doctors are used to the occasional frivolous lawsuit – that’s why they have malpractice insurance. But, who would have thought a woman could sue her doctor for screwing up a contraceptive implant and win child support for the resulting child. I hope he at least gets to help pick a name for the kid.

4. Rogue sea lion terrorizes San Francisco public park lagoon

The theory is he’s either protecting his group of mates or he’s suffering from brain damage from toxic algae. Whatever the case may be, the sea lion has bitten 14 people and chased people from the water. City officials have had to ban swimming in the area until the sea lion moves on in order to keep the public safe.

3. Voodoo practitioner tries to jinx Bush in Indonesia

President George W. Bush just can’t seem to catch a break anywhere he goes. If it’s not the Dixie Chicks dumping on him at home, it’s renowned black magic practitioners in Indonesia trying to jinx him while he’s abroad. The jinx was supposed to confuse the Secret Service guards traveling with the president so they’d think he was under attack and cause chaos at the Presidential Palace in Indonesia. Perhaps if that doesn’t work, it’ll come to fruition in a lesser way like a “Japanese incident” similar to the former President Bush.

2. O.J. Simpson interview to air on Fox discussing ‘What if I did it?’

What was he thinking? O.J. is already guilty in the eyes of millions even if the court didn’t come back with the guilty verdict and now he’s practically flaunting it with this interview.  I can only guess that he’s desperate for money if he’s stooping to making himself look even guiltier like this, but a sane man would rather flip burgers at Wendy’s than continue to dig a whole for himself in the public eye – or maybe not considering that another Jackass movie came out recently that disproves that theory.

1. Norwegian museum outs gay animals with exhibit

This one is odd just because someone actually took the time to find examples of animals ranging from killer whales to bonobo monkeys to giraffes exhibiting homosexual behavior. They present 51 species with homosexual examples, but more than 1,500 species have been noted to exhibit the behavior. Good for them, though, challenging what is natural or unnatural in the world.
